Winter Skincare

Strange things happen to the skin as the weather gets colder.  Lips get chapped and sore, skin gets flaky, patchy and red.  Why?  Well, in winter there is less moisture in the air so it dries the skin out.  Add to this the cranking up of the central heating and sitting infront of the fire toasting your chestnuts and you’ve got one big dry environment.

Use your lips as a general sign that your skin needs protection – when lips start feeling dry, cracked and generally sore and chapped, chances are your skin is also very dry and needs a bit of moisture.  Obviously Rockface All Weather Moisturiser should be slapped on in a liberal fashion every morning after shaving, but also take care of your lips – a bit of vaseline will do or a chap stick – you don’t need anything fancy.  Add a bobble hat and you’re good to go.
